Set in the scenic suburbs of Nottingham, the Wollaton Hall is basically an Elizabethan country house and deer park. It was built between 1580-1588 by Sir Francis Willoughby but at the moment it’s home to the City’s history and boasts reconstructed room settings. It sits on five hundred acres of healthy gardens. Besides the historical hall and its scenic grounds, you have a chance to visit the history museum, an industrial museum and also the Yard gallery.

The park boasts almost 10 kilometres of footpaths plus conservation, grassland, and landscaped areas set aside for visitors. If you are cyclist, jogger, or you wish to take your dog on a walk as you enjoy a bit of wildlife, this is the best place for you. It overlooks a lake and also has a play area for kids.
